Avery Norwick
Graduate Student Intern
As a Graduate Student Intern at McGill Counseling, I provide individual therapy for adults dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma. I view therapy as a collaborative relationship between therapist and client. I value creating a safe and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being their authentic selves.
Everyone has the capacity for positive personal growth within them. I am passionate about using therapeutic approaches to support people in overcoming life’s difficulties and reaching their goals.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Illinois and licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
