Dr. Marie Nebel-Schwalm, PhD
Psychologist
Choosing to invest in yourself is an important act of courage, and you deserve support as you navigate this time in your life. I offer an accepting, collaborative approach to help you find clarity and take practical steps toward greater well-being.
As a licensed clinical psychologist who also teaches psychology at IWU, I work with teens, college students, and adults who are looking for help with ADHD, anxiety, depression, body image concerns, and the pressures of daily life.
I use a blend of person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness-based techniques to help you develop a clearer understanding of yourself and learn practical coping skills. Whether you are seeking help with focus and executive functioning, managing anxiety or depression, or developing a more positive relationship with your body, we will tailor therapy to your goals.
You are the expert on your own life. I bring clinical knowledge and experience to help you make sense of your experiences, build confidence, and move toward meaningful change. My hope is that therapy helps you feel understood and better equipped to create a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.
